THE STORY
From patents and products to AI innovation and global leadership
Currently CTO at Splash Music, I'm building AI-powered music creation tools that democratize music production. Featured in RadioInfo Australia, Splash operates globally with teams across Sydney, Brisbane, London, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City.
I've built my career shipping products and building teams across 15+ cities worldwide. From San Francisco to Singapore, London to Stockholm, New York to Amsterdam, Toronto to Sydney I've built distributed teams, launched products in new markets, scaled startups, and brought innovation to gaming, streaming, audio, fashion, travel, healthcare, SAAS, and civic tech.
At EA, Twitch, and Audible, I shipped 100+ products reaching 10M+ concurrent users and 100M+ daily active users. Beyond entertainment, I serve as Director at Code for BC leading civic tech initiatives, worked as Lead Cloud Engineer in Switzerland, and advised startups across fashion, travel, healthcare, dating, gig economy, and SAAS.
Over the past decade, I've earned multiple US patents in AI-powered streaming technology powering 600M+ streams for Splash worldwide. These innovations integrate ML/AI prediction models, enable creators to go live and automatically archive content with AI optimization, plus manage multi-track content with selective permissions. Technology that's fundamental to modern streaming platforms.
As a speaker, I've delivered 100+ talks including keynoting AWS Summit Sydney 2025, panels at E3 Expo, recurring appearances at UC Berkeley, Google Cloud, Amazon DevCon, Afrotech, University of Southern California, and University of Michigan. From main stages to university classrooms, I share insights on AI innovation, product leadership, scaling teams, and earning patents.
Here's something unexpected: I used to be a chef. That background taught me creativity under pressure, precision, and making things people love. The same energy I brought to the kitchen shows up in every product I build, every team I lead, and every stage I step onto.
